Great coaching effort by Ken Hinkley this season and an admirable finals campaign by Port Adelaide.
He was extremely gracious in his post game comments after bowing out to Geelong last night.

Kenny you are a class act.

Remember Sanderson did something similar with the Crows last season and look what happened to them this year.
But all that aside he certainly has given the Power a real boost and some of the kids there look great prospects.

I think he has come from a fair way further back than Sanderson did A/M. They were a basket case this time last year. You have to give some credit to Koch who must have also attracted a lot of sponsors and supporters because of his high profile and he is certainly easier to listen to than Eddie!

Ken should be proud. Prior to this season starting I dont think anyone in Australia, including Port fans, would have tipped port to finish in the top 8.
They played an exciting brand of footy this year.

Also, Westhoff's goal in the last quarter... holy shit! IMO that is goal of the year. Absolutely amazing.
