This event supposedly happened on Sunday and it is now Friday and only just getting out?

why do we bother buying newspapers or listening to the news? yes the media have alot to answer for. So do footballers who keep doing dumb things. I guess we will see what pans out here, but where theres smoke. Brisbane have responded to the claim.

these things will forever keep happening. young guys dry for 11 months, then drop a carton by midday. the old days players had a few beers after the game. now they are all binded up 98% of the year. not suprising they go stupid this time every year, and im not excusing their behavior.

We're now discussing the Daniel Rich alleged incident. Seb Costello says there is CCTV footage and maybe it isn't as bad as first alleged.

Agree JArdine.....this stuff is always going to happen. God when us fellas do a dry july and then hit the piss on August 1st, it always does not end well. Doing 11 months dry and then kicking things off with the boys at say 9am....their is always going to be incidents.

I think what most clubs try to do is keep the players locked in somewhere where they can let their hair down and also not be in the spotlight or be in a position to do something stupid. Obviously sometimes this can not be controlled and incidents happen.

But banning Mad Monday....that is ridiculous!!
