yeah mate I believe he's good mates with another ex-Subiaco player on WCE's list and that's the key - it's a done deal I'm told

To be honest...I'm not sure he's any world beater. Did a few good things at Hawthorn but struggled a bit with injury and form. Who knows?

I think it's a freebie scenario and that's the nuts of it mate
it's what the Victorians are famous for doing when they decide they don't want to pay up one single cent

Surely the Eagles take Harley Reid? They seriously lack the presence of an absolute gun to build a side around and for mine they start with him. They've got first pick in every round plus pick 55 in the third round.

Fremantle picked up Matthew Johnson with first pick in the second round last year and he looks like being a gun.

Eagles supporters what do you want?

DD Reid does not want to be anywhere except staying over east and has said so publicaly, so why would you want him over here knowing that once his mandatory contract period is over, he's off back home. Use that #1 pick to get 2 first round picks of players who want to commit.

Not sure where you boys are getting your info from,  but it’s worth a wry smile.  He’s made some strong statements that could be true or just face powder.  So unless you know him and family personally I wouldn’t be making any big statements.  Anyway, it could all be moot.  Norths are loading up to throw the bathtub at the Eagles.

What the hell is going on at Freo?
They trade Henry and Schultz for a couple of draft picks and a packet of chips???
Why are all these players leaving?

I don't think Lachie Shultz was too happy we slid down the ladder this year when most expected us to climb higher. Fremantle have accepted Collingwood's first round pick next year instead of this draft banking on them having a premiership hangover.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Just adds to the player exodus which really started when Lachie Neale left in 2018. Since then there has been Weller, Logue, Acres, Hill, Lobb, Tucker, Hogan and now Schultz and Henry.
Also we see WA players coming home who specifically request a trade to the Eagles without even considering the Dockers as what has happened with Brockman this year and Tim Kelly a few years ago.
All clubs lose players to trades etc, but it appears that Fremantle have lost more than average in the past 5 years

still a conflicted club with a boards that never gel and a club that was poorly constructed to begin with
the initial board & management didn't get strong enough with the VFL around setup concessions (which to this very day are the single worst ever seen in this supposed AFL era)
many of those players mentioned have strong ties to Ross Lyon
some more were not happy over assistant Josh Carr leaving for Port Adelaide
and there are more who may leave next year
and their coach has just been seen at a Basketball training session with one of his minions (if that's his answer then there's even bigger problems brewing because basketball couldn't really be any further from football)
But there's a fundamental that this lot just don't get - they abandoned the town they named themselves after or rather stole the name from and they've lost many members and potential members from that
and so they cannot get past the other lot , who are beset by criminals , drugs & continual scandal since Nisbett took over
says volumes on just how bad they really are
