How many time do you hear the know all Melbourne commentators say,"If this guy played in Melbourne he would be a champion"
I would have thought that if you were a champion here in the West, or in Brissy or Adelaide, you would be a champion any where.
I get sick and tired of hearing it.

Steady on anchor, you're starting to think along the same lines as me...and I get severely castigated by the "wise heads" and "traditionalists" for my "heresy" against the omnipotent gurus from the far east.

Funny i always thought that Mainwaring Matera kemp etc, were all mentioned as champions by Healy and co, also healy blows his wad when talking bout nic nat, isnt healy from the east?
That chip is staring to show agin fellas.

Love yer continued aura of protection for the great people of the east unk, but just mentioning someone as a champ in a casual conversation or newspaper article means js!

Nope no aura about those from the east at all S58. Just trying to be fair thats all.
Can you give me ONE wa footy media person here who you would "rate" as impartial?

Yes I can give you 1 unk - Peter Bell - and there's a couple more if I scratch my head. Very good at his summations and obviously knows the game. As I have gravitated to ABC and community radio stations, I hear pretty good ones on air, but unfortunately don't know their names. The best and fairest to me is Healy - play well and he acknowledges - play bad and he carves the team up.

Yup like Bell as well S58, not as sure bout Healy though, personla taste i spose. reckon Belly got "educated" by his time in the East mate ( strictly a joke ther s58!!)
