Hodge will go no doubt, the Murphy hit was fine.. good contest. the umps should get a couple too.. 2 howlers one in Sewell holding the ball & the Mitchell throw..

I think he will be in trouble on his Murphy collission. Both went for the ball but Hodge's shoulder collects Murphys jaw. I would love for it to be nothing, as it was a great contest both guys going for the ball, one unlucky in coming off second best, but i think that is the way the MRP will see it. I also agree the henderson hit was a bit worse given he was past the ball etc, but the fact there was no damage to henderson will lesten the blow.

Just give Hodge one week. Just so WC dont have to verse him and i will be happy.

Roughhead? That would be a bonus, he is playing some good footy. Not sure what incident this was....I did watch the game and dont recall anything?

But jsut had a read and it was for a sheppard on Simpson, I dont recall it and obviously wasnt much replays or talk of it during the game. Cant really comment.

Hodge - repirmand for Henderson hit
Roughie - cleared for contact with simpson
Hill - cleared
Hodge - cleared for murphy contact.

My opinion is the correct outcomes. Bit dissapponited we now have to beat hawks with roughie and hodge playing haha.

Ziebell still unlucky in my opinion.

Oh well, all done and we move on, as we should. Let's hope Hodge doesn't change the way he plays Friday night. One of the true hard men of the game who loves to mix it and lead by example.

Yes it was unintentional, yes it was low impact, but it was definately high contact. Those three points equal 125 points. I am not sure which one of them was amended to be able to let him off. But hey, I did expect him to get off, happens all the time with certain players/teams.

Sucks we now have to take on the Hawks with Hodge, but the positive is we get to watch Hodge play!!

I watched all footage they showed, and i definately believe that he left his feet trying to avoid Roughhead. But he still hit him high with a shoulder.

I guess if someone is going to bump and unintentionally hits someone high, that is unintentional. If someone is in the congestion and he is doing an act to avoid contact and subsequently makes unintentional contact that this will be downgraded to nothing. It makes sense to me, would be a harsh penalty him getting a week for trying to not hit his own team mate, but then again he did hit the guy in the jaw with his shoulder......tough job that MRP.

What is the rules if you hit your own team mate? Say an accidental head knock?

Just a free kick for an unintentional bump causing high contact.
