So the Freo Lobbster may look for a transfer.  Thought he was going to Freo to play FF and kick 100 goals a season with the odd flag thrown in?  Didn’t work out so time to look elsewhere??  Trouble is, who would be interested in him?

I know you were referring to an AFL club,  Notwithstanding, I am sure Swan Districts would be interested.

Can’t see many AFL clubs showing interest, but WAFL clubs would be mad not to have a dip at him.  Still, I think he’s smart enough to know which side of his bread is buttered and stick with Freo.

He has probably been used in the ruck a lot more than he would have liked, although this year he has been used more as a key forward which is why he was originally recruited.

I'll be pissed off if he wants to leave. He has only just started to produce the type of form he showed at GWS before we traded him in giving up substantial picks at the same trade period we secured Hogan and we know how that deal ended.

McCarthy another dud but he is not even capable of playing WAFL football anymore. Another is Brad Hill. Underdelivered until the last year before he fucks off back to Melbourne. Good to see him struggling but hope his gf has enjoyed all the Melbourne lockdowns.

Lobb apparently is in a relationship with the daughter of ex Dockers CEO Steve Rosich who now works in Melbourne as CEO of the Victorian Racing Club and he's probably helped her land a lucrative job over there.

What I can't work out is all the talk is about him being linked to Gold Coast. He ain't getting a game in front of Max King so he'll end up in the ruck again. But it doesn't make any sense if his partner has a job lined up in Victoria.

Fremantle should let him go if somebody wants to take on his big salary and free up some salary cap space, very mediocre player who has made a career out of his centimetres rather than his performances, at the age of 28 he doesn’t even have 100 goals to his name yet. With Taberner and Treacy it’s hard to fit him into Fremantles forward line.

What is he?? 28?? Being paid $700k a year for the next 2 years at Freo and can't imagine any other AFL club is interest so why would he go anywhere?

I heard Gold Coast were interested, but if he's on $700k at Freo, cant see him getting better anywhere else, his form is mostly under whelming, big gap between his best and worst. Freo might be able to get a reasonable draft pick off GC for him.
