I'm not a Roos fan but for the bottom side to knock off the whinging weagles on their home deck was pure gold.  Well done to North and you've done Freo a favour.

Roos deserved it by far.  Their ball handling was so much better in shite conditions.  They’ll be a club on the move in the next couple of years if they keep their nucleus.
Thought you would be a little less scathing against the AFL side that helped turn Subiaco into $Subiaco, but then, I guess some people…….

TBH 58, the club and players aren't the problem...it's the arrogant one eyed supporters who think the rest of the WA football community is there for the Weagles benefit....and don't get me started on the disgraceful continuous booing. If it was an Olympic sport, Beags supporters would be world record holders and red hot gold medal favourites. The two Adelaide teams would make up the podium but Weags are in a class of their own in that regard....I guess some people indeed...

Agree BC, thats probably the first time WC have had a lower free kick count than the opposition for a home game and the Chardy set just couldn't cope. The Roo's for most of the night were first to the footy and they tackled superbly thoroughly deserved the win. When WC made a bit of a charge in the last they got a swag of frees as that was one of the few times they made the effort to be first to the footy. They are a basket case even if there is a heavy dew on the ground let alone any rain, they have no plan B for wet conditions. Makes little difference as any team outside the top 5 are just making up the numbers.

Your opinion I guess and opinions are like arseholes, everyone has got one.  For me, I ignore the booing, it’s a part of the game which everybody is entitled to, try it, you’ll enjoy the game more if you watch the footy.  I don’t have a boo meter, so have no idea who is the worst, I just watch the spectacle.  Maybe even you docker supporters boo?
Anyway, in retrospect, that was a great effort by the Roos and a well deserved win.  They’re a lot tougher than their ladder position indicates. They look as though they’re going to annoy a few clubs in the coming time.

I still think Cam Zurhaar would be a good fit for Freo. Originally from East Freo, a mid sized big bodied forward, aggressive, kicks goals although 2.6 last night wasn't a great return last night, he'd complement the talls of Tabs, Lobb, Treacy and smalls of Schultz, Walters et al. I think he's out of contract soon and Freo could probably get him for a late 2nd round pick or similar.

The Eagles look pretty disinterested to me. When the going gets tough, they go to water. They sold the farm to get Kelly so I reckon they have to look at trading some players out to get some early picks. I reckon Gaff would be open to a trade back home, he is the one with a bit of currency. He is 29 and his best years are probably behind him but a club like NM or Carlton might be interested.

It’s a bit of a worry when 2 of your best on the night are the oldest in the team.  There’s still a bit of the season ahead, so let’s see how it goes.  If they just stagger through the rest of the season, then maybe it’s time for a rethink.

Oscar Allen is the one the Eagles have to trade .If they want early draft picks.Could see a club like Adelaide or Gold Coast paying heavily for OA.Paying more than West Coast did for Kelly.

I watched a fair bit of the game and it was obvious to me that North Melbourne were working much harder for most of the evening. They generally won the 50/50 balls because they had more players at the contests. The slippery conditions neutralised the Eagles strength in intercept defensive marks and they failed to adapt their plan.
