They're waiting to see if Buddy will get his 3rd drug test fail before resigning.

Buddy will stay a Hawk. I don't think that's even a question really.

If Harry does come west then Fremantle are probably going to make a far bigger play than West Coast. He would suit what Fremantle are looking for and they have more to offer him.

Hope you're right, Harry down back and Jack Watts up front who will blossom under Ross Lyon. It all comes down to what we have to give up for them. They won't come cheap but Jack Watts price has come down considerably since being drafted. Our talls drafted last year will take 2 or 3 years to develop so getting a couple of mature bodies in the key positions I think is what we need if we are going to challenge for a flag in the next 2 or 3 years with a few older players on the way out.

Right now Melbourne would probably swap Jack for Jack (Hannath). Wouldn't that be ironic? I wouldn't be giving Hannath up and the way Zac Clarke played against Sydney didn't do his asking price any harm. Hopefully he can continue on with that kind of form and Griffen, Clarke and Hannath all look capable of kicking a couple of goals up forward.

How about this one. Buddy goes back to WA, the cards are off the table for Harry, and he puts his family first and returns to East Fremantle.

As he said on the TV (Fox?) the other night he has been lucky to have experienced football at AFL level, but would like to return home.

In the next breath he said something about playing on with the Cats, but it seemed an after thought and something to say at the time. Anyone else pick up on that?

Mike.

He's far too good to waste his life wearing a gay purple anchor
