If Harry was to come home I would favour the Dockers to get him. They have a lot of room in their salary cap from when they missed out on Mitch Clark. Also the Eagles have a few potential replacements for Glass already in the club ( Mitch Brown, Schofield).
Also Harry appeals as a potential marking key forward which the Dockers certainly need more than the Eagles who have Kennedy, Darling etc. Of course all this goes out of the window if Buddy decides he wants to come back to WA. In some ways though Harry may offer more to the Dockers because of his flexibility I reckon.

The deal i believe was done back in February this year. Harry Taylor to West Coast for Mitch Brown and a pick. Its being going on a while now, just come in the media now.

I was driving home listening to 6PR talking to Harry and thought exactly what have mentioned. Plus I think he was an Eagles supporter before being drafted.

Article i read in the herald sun, says Harry wants to stay, it would be family reason to send him back here,BUT he mentioned he thinks they can work around it?. As for signing i find it hard to believe as Scott mentioned he the club and Harry are at a very "good place", even went on to say,"give it yer best shot" in regards to his future. Its one of those now or never scenarios for Taylor.
His family want to come home, he has young kids and their family are over here. If he doesnt come now his family may have to wait another 5 or so years. Kids wont be that young anymore. I think there could be a good chance he comes over.
I dont think the could Eagles could offer Geelong too much, and it would a shame to see the champ wear purple. A shame to see any champ wear purple.

Harry Taylor wanting to come home was talked around pre season as well, given that it has come up again....then it looks to be pretty serious. Geelong is one hell of a club, and obviously noone will be suprised if he stays....but i wouldnt be suprised if he leaves either....he was got his premierships under his belt and would be quite content coming home and making his family happy. I rate him very highly as a player and would love to see him in the Blue and yellow next year.


But yes Mikeh, if Buddy wants to come home too then whoever doesnt get Buddy will get Harry. If WCE managed to get both, they will win the next 3 premierships 2014 - 2016.

Agree, I think he will stay a Cat, after what he has got from Geelong, he will stay!!

I reckon and its just a gut feel that theres more possiblility of Taylor coming back home than Franklin and if Buddy stays a Hawk just watch the dough that gets thrown(by both WA clubs) at Harry to come back to the West.
He may well stay a Cat but just watch his manager test what is on offer over here,reckon it would be heaps more than Geelong are paying him.
