Just come home after watching the glory. Soccer certainly has a different passion to aussie rules. It was my first A League game and I enjoyed it, it was ok. Now I’m looking forward to to a game at Spurs new ground.

Very disappointing way to end the season after an outstanding season bar that one. Hard for me to really assess being at the game and a very good seat you don't see everything but looked to me like Castro had a shocker trying to be too clever and losing the ball and slipping over a lot. Probably to do with the surface but I'm pretty sure Sydney played on the same surface. We seemed to create the most chances and came close on a few occasions.

Popovic now 0 - 4 in grand finals. That's not a monkey on your back, that's a gorilla.

Sounds like Ross Lyon.
Justice has prevailed. That disallowed goal by Sydney FC was legit.

I thought the Glory had the better chances and could have been 2-0 up but for brilliant saves by Redmayne. It's tough to lose on a shoot out like that but that's the way it goes. The surface looked very hard and caused players to slip a bit but agree with the comment that Castro over used the ball on occasions and Ikonomides went a bit quiet after half time following a terrific first half which also impacted on the Glory's penetration up front. Oh well...there's next year and Fornaroli will be in purple...I wonder what that will mean for Keogh? Maybe off the bench more often than not.

StT both trophies are of great importance but the GF would be of higher priority one would think. That trophy means you are champions.

It's been a great season and disappointing to lose via penalties. Tony Popovic's starting to have an unwanted record now. What's that three A-League GF's lost now.

BC I think we need to find someone like Rhyan Grant who has some real mongrel about him that gets under the skin of his opponents but also has the talent to help set up dangerous plays for his team.

Dino Djulbic has been a wonderful servant for the Glory but if he is an A League A grader I'll eat my hat. We can't afford to be carrying a defender that retreats backwards or straight back to the guy who just passed it to him because he lacks the skill to beat anyone or to execute a skilful pass of his own. And we have been missing a top notch dead ball specialist since Nebojsa Marinkovic. He had the most lethal boot in the A league from the corners and free kicks within range, he used to terrorize goal keepers.

With Alex Grant fit next year I think Drillbit will find it hard to break into the starting line up. I also think Kilkenny does pretty well kicking in from corners but agree with Marinkovic...he was brilliant from free kicks.
