You can smell the finals atmosphere in the air can’t you?
The first week on the finals produced some very good games of football and I expect this week to be no different, through all 3 grades we have 6 high quality games of football on offer. The League games are why we are all here though and MrM is sensing an upset, perhaps even two, but we shall touch on them later. The weather looks like being some beautiful conditions as well, so we definitely do have a lot to look forward too.

Off the field, how good was it to see S.S back in the test line up last night and pick right back up where he left off. In other news all offers are in and MrM is now formalising his acceptance to perhaps attend the Perth Football League awards. A few clubs rescinded their invites and others have strict conditions on their invite so MrM must tread very carefully, but MrM may be making a late appearance on Monday evening.

Okie dokie let us look at the games, excitement all round here.

Scarborough v University @Millington Reserve

This will be a great game of football, you can count on that but it is not final of the week. Scarborough fresh off a week off will be good for the older bodies they have, but they come in with losing form after they did succumb to Uni last fixture. You could say they weren’t at full strength, but winning form is good form so they head in with a tough task. Uni are flying, they won last weekend and will be looking to do so again. With big match ups all over the ground, this will be the grand final preview, I am sure. With Scarborough at home, they are to hard to pass this week.
Scarborough by 2 goals

Fremantle C.B.C v North Fremantle @Morris Buzzacott Reserve FOTW

It is win or go home empty handed here, A big game, battle of the port city so it is this weekends Final Of The Week.
Freo C.B.C lost against a very good side on weekend but will need to rebound here if they want to go further this season, the only problem is they come up against a side which has had their measure in 2019. North Freo, had a great come from behind win last weekend will be hoping they don’t have to do that this weekend. A huge game, and only one winner, MrM is jumping on the North Froe train.
North Fremantle by 2 goals

Good luck to all this weekend.

Rumour has it Scarborough has 5 players coming back into the team this week.
Should be a great game - Scarborough by 3 goals.
Once again, North Freo has nothing to lose but I think CBC want another crack at the GF.
