It is preliminary finals week, and this is probably the biggest weekend in the PFL calendar with every other grade playing or having played their grand finals, things are really at the pointy end of the season. We have 3 teams left and truth be told, anyone can win it from here but the big bad boys from Billy Grayden are currently in the box seat, who will join them, well find out soon. Next week MrM will try and preview 3 games, but for this week, sticking with what MrM knows.
Off the field, MrM (DrM) is on the late shift this week, later commute time, means all for MrM. So, you might all be reading this on the lunch break as opposed to the morning smoko. But all is not lost as September is one of the great times in the Australian Sporting calendar and all should relish in the fact that even though MrM (DrM) is a busy man off the field, he can still bring you some exciting action. As sad as it was for MrM to not get an invite on Monday, he did tip a winner and that does bode well for spring. Alright let us look at this weekend.
Curtin University Wesley v Fremantle C.B.C @South Oval
Well Curtin had a good come back last weekend winning the second half just, but the TA’s boys proved too strong for them in the end and they will need to regroup quickly if they are to play next week as they face a CBC team ready for the challenge. CBC have shown they can match it with the best, and will definitely know if they play near their best they can win this weekend and win it all next week. Should be a fascinating game for all, will be a hard fought game that could go either way. At home, Curtin Uni will be too good for mine.
