The days are getting a little longer, weather is finally getting a little warmer, which means, finals football must be in the air. With 2 big games this weekend we still have a few weeks to go before we get to the final game of the season, so until then, gird one’s loins and get ready for a busy and unpredictable 4 weeks.
Off the field, one does hope you all heeded MrM advice (DrM for you wonderful followers) and found a way to fill that empty sport void in your life, by watching the World Athletic Championships or finding another way. If you are lost, looking for someone or something to fill this void, MrM is happy to bring you along for the ride in the next month before he sails off into the sunset. So, get ready for an adventure, as we see who will be left standing when it is all said and done.

Curtin University Wesley v Fremantle C.B.C @South Oval
This will be a very fascinating contest for all. Curtin Uni have been very good the last few weeks and will be primed and ready for a contest against a side, who has had an interesting season to date. Freo CBC have had an indifferent season and will want to bring their best for 100 minutes this weekend or they are no chance at all in MrM eyes. Will be a good game, but Curtin playing some very good football at the moment and that is hard to pass up.

University v Kingsway @UWA Sports Park
These two sides met last weekend and in a preview the home side came out on top. Uni have strung together a few wins in a row and will be full of confidence against a Kingsway side this weekend who is on a 4 game losing streak. It has been a long season, with only the one bye and some players did not get a week off, so depth will be tested this finals series, it is hard to see how Kingsway get out of this one given their lack of depth, will be the 123 Uni boys are we.
