Only have 3 weeks to go and things could not be better for MrM (DrM for all you ardent supporters) in terms of on field entertainment for all. With final ladder positions still up for grabs and the uncertainty of what is going to happen, this is the entertainment. While many on here seem to think the season is fait accompli, MrM is a realist and knows anything can and will happen in the next few weeks, so buckle up.
Off the field, what fun we had last week. People clap loud when you get your Masters, people clap louder when you win a Logie, but people clap the loudest when you fall, and boy did everyone want MrM to take a tumble last week. On this cold brisk morn as MrM commutes to earn a living, it is clear that MrM is the voice of reason, with everything said taken as verbatim, so thank you to all those who revere MrM. Fear not for all those praying for MrM demise, for MrM will still be here.
Alright let us look at this weekend.
Kingsway v Trinity Aquinas @Kingsway Reserve
Battle for the top of the table here for both sides. Kingsway, they are fresh off a loss and will want to bounce back this weekend, however they face the big bad TA’s boys who can almost lock up top spot with a win here. IT will be an interesting game and a good precursor for finals no doubt. Kingsway at home, balcony in full swing, will unfortunately not get it done this weekend.

University v North Beach @UWA Sports Park
Well the 123 Uni boys are We, have now lost the last two and as they battle for a good ladder position come finals time they are facing a side that is looking to play finals if things go right. The ole Beach Boys were in full swing last weekend and looking like a side with a point to prove. It will be a tough game for both sides but thinking North Beach may be able to get it done away from home.
North Beach by 3 goals
Scarborough v Wanneroo @Millington Oval
This could potentially be game of the round. For the boys at the Mill it has been a long season with many surprised by their slide, however with a win this weekend, they can refresh, and restart for 2024, however a loss and it is game on. Meanwhile Wanneroo, are in the exact same boat and up for the fight MrM is sure. Will be a good 100 minutes of football, but their can only be one winner.

West Coast v Mount Lawley @City Beach Oval
Another side who has had a tough season in 2023, but enough about the Beaufort Street Bandits, let us focus on West Coast. The CEO wants to stay on for a number of years and the coach wants to stay too, things are looking up for the west coast in an otherwise disappointing season. Back to the Beaufort Bandits, this game really means little for them. Therefore, MrM is thinking it will be too much.
West Coast by 2 goals
Curtin University Wesley v Fremantle C.B.C @South Oval
These two sides are looking to firm up their ladder positions as well and both need a win to keep that top 2 finish alive if they can. Curtin Uni are hitting their straps and playing some good football, where CBC are in a similar boat. CBC know if they keep wining they can push for that double chance. It should definitely be a fascinating game and MrM cannot wait to see the outcome. At home though and playing some good football, Curtin Uni to get it done.

Good luck to all.
