A third of the way through the season after this weekend and MrM is quite excited by what many are calling quite possibly MrM (DrM) best season ever. Whilst many do not reply on here to MrM this is ok, as many have reached out to MrM via his social media handle (@ DrM) and he could not be happier. Words of wisdom from MrM followers, “Bring back the hot chip reviews!” Well, MrM can indeed do this and there is only one thing for MrM to say for last week’s chips, change your month-old oil TAs, which is all and your siren fix that too.
Off the field interactions and engagement have been many for MrM and as Mr(Dr)M is quite the common man travelling amongst commuters on the line you do get to hear things and rumours about life. Some of these do tickle MrM, but surely, they cannot be serious, some examples are clubs choosing not to open up on a Saturday. Post-game awards are clubs’ lifeblood, will anyone even remember who played well on a Thursday the following week for awards? Seems odd to MrM but discuss away all if you wish.
Alright should be a fun weekend, let us look.
University v Fremantle C.B.C @UWA Sports Park
The Uni boys tumbled down the ladder with a loss last weekend, in a game many would have thought they should win. It will not get easier for them this weekend as CBC is starting to string together a few good games, showing they are back again in 2023. It will be a good game, but CBC too good.

Wanneroo v Mount Lawley @Wanneroo Showgrounds
The B Grade Grand Final rematch and its going to be a beauty. Wanneroo could not match it with the big outfit of TA last weekend but at home, they are a better side. Mount Lawley broke through with their first win last weekend and will more than likely fancy themselves here. However, will ghosts of past haunt Mt Lawley? MrM wonder if they are going to tag number 12 this week as he makes his triumphant return or let him roam for 40 in 3 quarters again, MrM will go with Wanneroo at home here.

West Coast v Kingsway @City Beach Oval
It has been a long-documented season so far for West Coast, however they may fancy themselves this weekend, but unfortunately for them they are up against a red hot Kingsway side, defying many. For the gents in teal, lucky reserves or colts result account for nothing, as their league side is flying along, but others dwindling, but that matters not. They are looking good and this weekend, they would be hoping for a big win and MrM can see it occurring

Curtin University Wesley v North Beach @South Oval
Well Curtin Uni are still hoping to go one better than last season and will no doubt be fresh after coming of a big win last weekend, they face a side that MrM said to be careful of, only to come out and lose by a similar margin against a winless team. The boys at the beach have stumbled in recent weeks, and this week they will not want to lose 3 in a row. MrM is new to A Grade but do the beach have a clash jumper here? Unsure, but one is needed. Curtin at home, too good by MrM standards.

Scarborough v Trinity Aquinas @Millington Oval
It is fair to say, MrM thought Scarborough were going to be travelling a little better in 2023, but they are not and this weekend, it does not get any easier. TA’s looked very big last weekend and seeing as they are not getting smaller during the week, can only see them continuing to grow and thrive. A big game, and TA being big will get it done.
Trinity Aquinas by 3 goals.
Good luck all.
