Well lockdown is over and this means the PFL is back. What happens with Rd 3 who knows, have heard whispers of the round being played instead of the general bye over the long weekend, however Gotheball will believe this when it's officially announced.
Trinity Aquinas 2-0 (3rd) vs Collegians 0-2 (9th)
Trinity having a great start to the season against Collegians who are desperate for a win. For Collegians it will not be this week. Trinity by 30 points
Fremantle CBC 1-1(4th) vs North Beach 2-0(1st) MOTR
A match up that looks good on paper and also my MOTR. CBC have gone about the business making a steady start against North Beach who have start well. North Beach can tend to have an early slip up most years but after the week off I'll back them by 8 points in a better of a game.
Scarborough 1-1 (7th) vs Kingsway 2-0 (2nd)
I'll put my hand hand and say I got both these tips wrong last start. Scarborough were disappointing against Trinity and Kingsway made a big statemestatement away win against Curtin. Kingsway are the big improver this year and will not be fazed by Scarboroughs big oval, actually it will suit them moreĀ Kingsway by 40
Curtin Uni Wesley 1-1(6th) vs Uni 1-1(5th)
A massive game for so many reasons. Curtin coming off a rare loss and Uni doing what they had too against North Freo. Looking at the team sheets it was a very different Curtin 2 weeks ago(can anyone confirm) and with the week off and maybe a few back, I'll back them to bounce back by 12 points.
Wembley 0-2(10th) vs North Freo 0-2(8th)
This is an interesting one where first impressions say that the B Grade thread boys could say is a possible MOTR in B grade in 2022. For North Freo I feel they are going to be a bottom 4 team this year and these game are so important for them. Wembley will get better as the season goes and under the lights will see this as an opportunity to break the duck. I'll back North Freo by 15 but won't be surprised to see a Wembley win.
Thank God footy is back!!!
