Premiers: North Beach, the GF loss when they went in heavy favourites would have stung

University is my top 5, could be in any order

Kingsway and TAs to be just out of the 5 although would surprise if one of both sneak in. 

North Freo too be just behind those two teams and do enough to be out of relegation.

Collegians to be good but missing some class.

Wembley to be the cellular dwellers but will cause an upset or two at home.

Purely based on last year and the odd clearances that you heard but until the ball is bounced on saturday it a guess.

North Beach v North Freo
Good crowd at Chas Riley for Rd 1 
Very low scoring first half with North Freo taking in a slight lead at half time. Both sides struggled in the windy conditions with North Freo capitalising on a number of North Beach turnovers. North Beach ran over the top in the second half for a comfortable win. Both sides looked pretty young with a number of players to come back in over the next few weeks. 

Umpires red hot, giving a North Freo player a yellow card which had the players and spectators guessing what it was for. Apparently a dangerous sling tackle which saw the unaffected North Beach player taking the free straight away and no players coming in to remonstrate. Are yellows still supposed to receive a free and 50m?
