Well we are at the halfway point and the ladder takes shape so here's another week of my predictions and thoughts.
Collegians 1-3 9th vs Trinity Aquinas 2-2 7th
A game that Collegians would think that they are a sneaky chance of stealing, also a game that Trinity think they should win, I think that they will by 3 goals
Kingsley 0-4 10th vs North Beach 3-1 2nd
Kingsley well what do I say a win is so needed to survive the drop, North Beach would be disappointed to have lost to Curtin and have the 1st loss but a dream game to bounce back, Will some players be rested? Do they go after a percentage boost? North Beach by 10 goals plus
Scarborough 2-2 4th vs University 2-2 6th GOTR
What a match up here an old fashioned 8 point game and a must win by both sides. Its also the winner of my Game of the round. Scarborough are about where I thought they would be University have been disappointing. This is also the 2nd semi final from last year and I think the result will be different this time around. Scarborough by a goal
Fremantle CBC 3-1 3rd vs Kingsway 2-2 5th
Another game under consideration for GOTR but just got pipped. CBC have done what they have needed to so far got a scare last week against North Freo while Kingsway are the big improvers for 2020, however CBC have played the last 2 gfs for a reason and at home they will have a 15 point win.
Curtin Uni Wesley 4-0 1st vs North Fremantle 1-3 8th
What do you say about Curtin, whoever comes up against them is no match. For North Freo this is D Day lose this and its about staying above Kingsley, win and finals are back on the table. I for one thought North Freo would have been a lot better than results show so far because the team list is up there with the best. I'll go Curtin by 2 goals but wouldn't be surprised to hear of a North Freo victory here.
