Again very quiet on the A Grade chat so I'll get the ball rolling

North Beach vs Collegians
On paper should be rather one sided in front of a big crowd for past players day. North Beach by 8 goals.

North Fremantle vs Trinity Aquinas
North Freo did enough to win against Kingsway while Trinity was up at 3 quarter time against North Beach before running out of legs. North Freo to get up at home by 3 goals

Kingsley vs Wesley Curtin
The Wesley Curtin boys made a statement knocking off the reigning premier while Kingsley were poor, the question out of this game will be how much Wesley win by. 10 goals plus for me

Kingsway vs Uni
Kingssay not quite good enough last week and Uni lost by a point, by all reports these teams played in a scratching a couple of weeks ago with Uni winning by 3 or 4 goals. I think it will be similar but a massive game for Uni here. Uni by 15 points

Scarborough vs Fremantle CBC GOTR
My pick for GOTR as its the preliminary final rematch from last year. Can Scarborough get revenge for the home preliminary loss or will CBC do the job again. Both sides coming off easy wins against the expected 2 bottom sides bit this will be tougher. CBC by 10 points

Enjoy the weekend stay dry have a frothy and Go the ball

A few big results on the weekend shaping the ladder after 2 rounds.

Win of the round certainly goes to Kingsway, a 6 goal win over Uni is a big result. Kingsway having 7 goalkickers and Uni just the 1 raises a few eyebrows!

CBC just getting the job done in a close one against Scarborough
TA's getting the chocolates in a good contest against North Freo

Whilst Curtin Wesley & North Beach seemed to have straightforward wins over Kingsley & Collegians respectively.

9 game season producing some interesting results early!

Definitely didn't predict the Kingsway Uni result, maybe a bad day at the office for Uni or some more serious problems. Trinity beating North Freo not a big surprise both teams should end up in similar positions come late August early September. Kingsley vs Collegians for relegation early it seems although Collegians were up at half time against North Beach before running out of legs late. Interesting season ahead I think. Good to have another poster as well

Interested to see the way results go this week - all of a sudden 1/3 of the way through the season!

Would be a shame for Collegians to drop back down after working hard to get back into A grade ater a long hiatus (2012 was their last season I believe?) and I'm sure they don't want that to be the case so hopefully start to get a couple of wins on the board.

As for another poster - I'm sure there are dozens of others reading without being bothered to make comments. Just need people to login and speak their minds!

Good win by Kingsway. However a shock loss by Uni.

Be interesting too see if Kingsley and Collegians can jag a few wins.

A Grade chat is very quiet, definitely missing Mr M's weekly contributions.

Usually in late July you've got a pretty good idea of which teams are contenders and which teams are pretenders. Not the case this year though but the next 2 weeks should give us a glimpse.

North Beach, CBC and Curtin all have a chance to cement a top 4 spot if results go their way or do they find themselves back in the pack with a few losses.

Kingsway should win the next 2 putting them on the cusp of making the top 4 whilst Kingsley and Collegians will be looking firmly down the relegation barrel - I'm predicting the result of their Rd 9 clash will be the only thing separating these two teams in 2020.
