And we’re last. Who would’ve thought but with 2 losses, a win that took us to 0 points, the ground debacle and some injuries, 2024 just hasn’t gotten off to a great start. Maybe it’s all a little hard. The next 3 games are critical (SD, Subiaco and EP). All tough games. Really depends which EF turns up but so far it’s been the disinterested one 2 times so odds are against us that that team shows up

Apparently Jono Marsh is waiting for scans on his Hamstring, whats wrong with these players it never ends. 

I tweaked it in the game against Claremont but then continued to play. Absolutely ridiculous 

Don't fear MSS83.....I hear there is some good news coming soon,  with a new addition to the EF playing ranks over the coming days or week. May need a bit of fine tuning in the seconds, but when ready, will definitely provide a much needed boost to EF in 2024.

Heard Bill on the radio this morning he said that Bokehurst and Oreilly will play reserves and they will decide if Eardley will come straight back in. He said Jono Marsh will be back after the next bye, also Chris Walker will be back after the bye We can not win with injuries 

He sounded a little flat but was positive about the season. 

Interesting to hear that hamstring "tightness" now becomes a 10 week injury for JMarsh. I guess O'Reilly will need to be managed with extra care as well....especially with his injury CV. Going to bexa few seasons defining games coming up for EF. Will certainly test the resolve of the playing group for sure.

With the apparent state of EF new oval, can see a few more injuries happening if the players ever get on it. 

Cant believe the Jonno Marsh injury has turned into 5 weeks!!!
Still missing 5 premiership players which will certainly test the team. Hoping we can sneak 3 wins from the next 5 games and stay in touch with the top 5 until we see a much healthier list.

Totally agree Rock.....the next 5 games  are season defining for EF and a fantastic test for the players footy character. Bugger to lose Joyce as well, but with his footy CV, injuries crippled his Brisbane and WCE stints.

Great to see Josh Cripps get a debut, been finding the footy in the reserves this year and deserves a crack. With Leggett out for personal reasons, would a love to see young Gero boy Jack Cocking get a debut. Same height as Leggett and a smart footballer who knows where the goals are....like for like.

Defence wise EF looks sound, especially with Eardley listed at HB, and the midfield battle will be a beauty. Forward wise will be the test for EF, as SD defence looks very strong. Perhaps play Teakle as the designated FF, Cripps to CHF, and let RMcGuire ruck v Blakely.....though Teakle has played well as EF designated ruckman.

Tom Joyce is a bigger out im baffled that these players are injured so often its getting ridiculous
