This will be a good measure after last week, we look like going into it with a near full strength team.

I am looking forward to seeing Robertson and the Jones boy having a hitout.

I am a bit confused as the WAFL site says the colts are on at 930 at Leederville but the club says the game is at the Port.

Certainly found out over the last two weeks who the teams are to beat.
Subi way too good last week, and South today.
Robbo, hope he is just a bit rusty, didn’t do much just wanted to fight, thought he was warming up for the UFC
Jonesy got monstered by Higgins who dominated all day
Dobbo And Hille were lively in the second half, we need them both around the ball more option, I think they both kicked a couple of goals each.
A lot of poor disposals by the mids didn’t help.

EP 5.6 SF 9.8, Souths were dominant early and just used the ball much better, we warmed to the task as the game progressed but I think we seem to be a week behind in our readiness to play. Some of the recruits looked good and racing parlance will be better for the run. Some will get into Robertson but he was as rusty as a farm gate early but tried to get into the game, I did not see the incident with the head ducker but at 1/2 time Robbo made a bee line for Suban so I reckon there is a bit to play out at the next game. It is pleasing for me to see a bit EP mongrel and yes it maybe misdirected at times but it is something we have lacked especially when we had the WCE nonce's playing our jumper!

Ressies - EP 6.12 SF 7.4 - good game and result for the boys.

Colts EP 14.5 SF 4.3 - played at the port so no report from me.

Cheers Grump, I see EP in the top 4 but still finding your way no doubt. One unique stat between our clubs will come to an end this shortened season (unless we meet in the Finals), since 1999 neither side has had a clean sweep of wins against each other.

One thing I always look forward to is the games against WP, it will be interesting for us as we seem to have a bigger bodied team this year so that against your Black, Nelson group will be something to look forward to!

Yes we are not a big bodied side by any stretch but we seem to be light footed and have a bit of pace and now have a few taller marking options so we shouldn't have to rob Peter to pay Paul with the likes of Lourey and Keitel anymore.
