Our current form is worthy of the top 3 atm so should be a good game. WP will get great satisfaction in keeping the Ferals to 4th or even 5th spot if we beat them by 30+ and Claremont will win big over Perth, that will be motivation enough

Spot on Whinnen with the incentive to perform.If everything falls into place we could get there.The odds are against us but we have an extra incentive as well.If the cards fall the wrong way this will be Darren Harris's last game as coach.I hope not but if that happens can't pass the opportunity to salute this great clubman.He has been a big presence at our club since he arrived from Wodonga back in 92 as a 24 year old and served the club well as both a player and a coach.Always a hard worker on the field and gave his all and as captain in 95 was an inspiration and deservedly won the Simpson in the GF.As a coach in two stints was always determined,measured in his thinking and an excellent communicator.He got the best from his players and in the last two seasons he has used the term"maximum effort" at various times to describe performances and attitudes.He got that from his players(especially last season) but he also had that maxim in conducting himself.He wanted his players to be better footballers but also better people and citizens.That was his mantra.Well all good things must come to an end.Our hearts beat true and Darren's beats red and blue.Thanks for the memories Harro.
