Thanks to the Windies shock victory in the Brisbane test, I sense a renewed interest in the white ball part of the tour. In reality though both teams are very different from the test combinations. 
From Australia's point of view, good to see them giving Inglis a go at the top of the order.  Hardie and Morris will get some games under their belt. Will be interesting to see how Bartlett goes, would have liked to see Spencer Johnson included as well.
The Windies have a strong team for both formats so the games should be competitive

Couple of fair Aggotts from Bartlett to get his first wicket. Should have had 2 in his first over but they didn't review a not out decision that would have been overturned.

Great debut by Bartlett, geez Morris has been pretty underwhelming, hopefully he can get another go during this series. Surprised Johnson hasn't been selected.

Morris will always go for runs, that's the risk with bowlers that just bowl flat out.

On other days some of those shots go to hand and he gets a bag. I don't think they will be worried.

Surprised Hardie didn't get a bowl, he is more than handy. I hope they don't bat him at 7 and not use him. He should be in the side before Spare Bus Change who should be preparing for a test series in NZ

Very true PH, good to see Smith atleast bowl Morris out his full 10. Interesting to see Bartlett get the 2nd best return on an Aust ODI debut .....behind current selector Tony Dodemaide......

I am staggered (although maybe not considering it is Dumb & Dumber aka George & Ronald) that Spencer Johnson has not been picked.
To me he is a far better prospect in all 3 forms than Morris is, who despite being a WA boy, doesnt have much by way of variety outside pace.

Interesting that you preferred to give Dumb and Dumber some stick BH for not picking Johnson, then give any plaudits for picking Bartlett.....love ya contempt for them mate.....hate to get on the wrong side of you BH, you certainly know how to hold a grudge.....

Great to see Cam Green produce an innings of substance in the One dayer batting with his captain. Also Inglis showed what he can do at the top of the order.
Apparently Green will be available for Shield cricket after this one day series to prepare for the tour of NZ. That will be great for both him and WA

And now I see D&D have "rested" Bartlett after just 1 game.
Gee those 9 overs in Melbin's 18 degree temp must have been gruelling!!!

Barlett didn't play any domestic cricket befire the BBL apparently, due to a back injury BH......more precaution then anything else.....anyway that allows Sutherland to play and hopefully gives Hardie an opportunity to have a bowl.....surely in a meaningless ODI series, that is sensible thinking....spread the load and let's see a multiple of newbies play as part of Aust transition.....geez you can't win with some of these D&D haters....
