EAGLES Football Club president Kurt Slaven says the club will challenge proposed changes to the SANFL junior recruiting boundaries.
Woodville-West Torrens has been one of those hardest hit by the revised zones, released last week, while Glenelg is the big winner.
The Eagles will lose part of Thebarton - the historic heartland of West Torrens.
It will also lose ripe junior recruitment land west of Tapleys Hill Rd and south of Henley Beach Rd to Glenelg.
Mr Slaven expected the club to lose some area to the east and north of its boundaries, but the loss of the south-western areas was a hard blow. "It'll have a major effect on us," Mr Slaven said.
