Given the effort by the WCE players in the WCER side they are seriously undermanned both on the field and off it.

They have far to many c grade players in the reserves side that if they have more form or injury issues there will be a price and that will be their place in the finals.

England, Allen, Watson, Vardy, Venables, Murtimer are just not upto WAFL standard let alone AFL standard.

You have to wonder why Sheed is the whipping boy and how Ah Chee gets dropped, whilst neither set the game on fire they at least showed that they were willing and able to play.

Pathetic effort by all of WCE associated people both on and off the field!

I agree to a point Grump, but I’m sure all clubs have this problem to a degree. It’s not all doom and gloom for the Eagles just yet. Guess it will depend on getting and keeping their top 22 on the field and making sure they have a plan b and c now that they have been found out. How many times have we seen teams win an April premiership? North’s season 2016 is a perfect example. It’s all up to them now as to whether they stay up or fall away. Unfortunately though, it looks as though your club will suffer whatever happens, as will the WAFL.

Thx just one point of clarification I in no way support and AFL team, never have never will, not being rude just a point that I would cheerfully watch them all fail. I watch games to watch WA players and the odd game just cos I admire the sporting or athleticism of the game!

That’s fair enough Grump, each to their own. At least you’re not one of those that slag people like anchorman, myself ect al because we also love the AFL game. Having said that, I did prefer watching WAFL .....until this season of coarse :( :(

The Eagles will be back on track once Kennedy and Darling are back , a mini mid season slump is no cause for concern, if they can pull a win out of the hat against Adelaide and then get the spearhead back they should be right, if they lose Kennedy and Darling in September even with a top 4 finish that will be the end of the dream they just don't have the fire power to replace them.
