I gave Cameron a wrap on the Collingwood file about 9 mths ago with NO REPLIES. I rate him.
The Essendon vs Adelaide was a scrappy game but we won. The Eagles/Pie match was electrifying. How AFL really is when top sides play..

Strange isn't it, he was at Sydney for 3-4 years and didn't get a go. Sydney have not been blessed with great ruck talent during this time and he couldn't get a game.

And it continued last night. Cats looked in control but last qtr was the telling factor.. Kennedy was powerful & NicNat was always in control. Eagles are delivering good AFL football. (sorry about the Gliders)

As Simmo says, they’ve got make the most of the home ground, because they’ll have a run of short breaks and head to another hub soon.

Is Naitanui in the best form of his career? Last few years it looked like his body was not standing up and his days were numbered. Now he’s a monty for All Australian first ruckman, daylight second. I think he took a massive pay cut in his most recent contract, Covid complicates things but right now he’d be in line for a decent pay rise you would think.

Amazing effort for a ruckman coming back from two knee reco’s who relies so much on the ability to jump.

Nic put on a tap ruckmans clinic and his bulldozing work in the pack was terrific, only 10 possessions but was the most influential player on the ground closely followed by Sheed who's work in and under is reminiscent of Matty Priddis.

Nic's tap to Kennedy in the last was a superb set play, you could see the Cats shoulders drop after that one. The Eagles are playing great footy at the moment, one of the few watchable teams in the circus. must say that the Cats aren't far behind, their first 3 qts were very good, way ahead of what Eddiepies showed.

The AFL has always been motivated and run with money and profits as a chief influencer. They should leave the WA teams in a Perth hub whilst they are bringing in crowds of nearly 30 thousand, keep that money coming through the turnstiles.

Interesting Chris Scott remarking that NN is so hard to match “especially with the centre bounce rules.” I actually reckon Naitanui is hindered by the centre circle, it’d be interesting to see his ruckwork at centre bounces without the circle like it was in previous eras when ruckman could run and jump at it. Interested to hear others thoughts on this, it’s how rucking was for so long.

I think you’re spot on Too. Nic would be unstoppable under the old rules. As for Scott, he’s a whinging, whining excuse maker....just a dead set flog.

I agree, it always looks unnatural to me seeing a ruckman restricted by the centre circle. I’ve got no problem having one I just think make it a yard or two wider.
