BC....would like to think your predictions are on the money....Subi have the personnel, be interesting if all those years of talk that "my grandma could of coached those Subi sides to their flags", will be put to the test....big shoes for the young Subi coach to fill...or even half fill....regardless of all 3 grades winning flags and the senior side going undefeated....hopefully 2019 will be known for a competitive season and the location of the missing 42......a couple of easy Subi wins and a couple of fellas from SD getting picked up in the AFL mini draft should draw the fella out.....

At this stage I honestly cannot see anyone mounting a meaningful challenge to Subiaco. They are just so far in front of everyone else, they may lose a few games this year to show they are human after all but I wouldn't put my house on it. If it hadn't been for Peel taking advantage of the qualification rules for AFL players in 2016/17, Subiaco would be going for their 6th premiership in a row with no real end in sight to their continued domination of the competition.

Subi,Peel then daylight for the rest although it is still a bit early to predict due to recruiting.
The only challenging thing for Subi is there new coach and the connection he has with the playing group.
Will the coach have the same respect the players had for Shoefield??

That's a very good question 30plus. Even if he doesn't command the same respect, you'd think the leadership group including Horsley, Kitchin, Lockyer, Delahunty, Litherland would still demand certain standards from the playing group. I've said before that I thought Wardman was a very strange appointment since he's never had any senior coaching or playing experience but I guess time will tell.

not strange appointment when club is losing money, cant afford to spend your money on both players and a high profile coach anymore.

Think it will be a Subi v Peel grand final.I expect peel to bounce back to a real threat due to strategic recruiting which will strengthen both the Dockers and Peel teams this yearThat is .provided the Dockers don't have a bad run of injuries.Of the 41 players on the dockers list 35 have already played Afl footy.Of the 6 who haven't both Schultz and Bewley have played Vfl with Williamstown as mature age players and willl be able to play wafl from day.Of the 4 rookie listed players both Giro and Nyhuis played several afl games last year and Tobe Watson played a full season for swan districts league team in 2018 which means peel have great pool of wafl players to pick from..To top it off they have been able to recruit delisted Essendon player Jackson Merrett who will join several other handy peel players to make a very strong team.If Peel get enough of the right players qualified I think they can win again.

My understanding is they can DF, I heard nothing to the contrary to this in the announcement so I reckon they can. You would think West Coast would want to have their squad playing as deep into the season as possible especially if they are in the AFL finals.

Okay thanks Mike.
My next question is why should these intruders intrude?
