With all due respect I doubt whether you’ve had a lot of experience with list management. Freo don’t need a Gault. Darcy & Strnardica are already better players than Gault and are about 5 years younger. Meek is 20. Cox is similar age.

Sorry champ perhaps another club might give Gault a go but Freo need pacy midfielders with above average foot skills.

I don’t think many in the industry would classify 4 20yo’s, 3 @ 200cm+ and 1 @ 193cm with a good pair of hands as list cloggers. But each to their own.

To late now to be looking at free agency players for 2019.Polac,Gaff,Shields are the only free agent midfielders available.

That was very apparent on Saturday from peelmantles dominate performance.

I agree Grump to a certain degree. Of the 3 you may of seen against EP - Strnardica was pretty good. Jones had a run in the 2’s and touched it 68 times.. I didn’t think Meek had one of his better games but battled manfully.

At AFL level Darcy was shaded around the grounds by Grundy who will surely be an Alll Australian. However Darcy won the hit outs and Freo the clearances. Cox was serviceable but didn’t have a huge impact.

Future wise, the 4 20yo’s clearly have more upside than Gault and given this Gault would be no chance of getting on Freos list. WC may be if Lycette goes.

GTR - Freo will look to the draft for midfielders rather than trade one in.
