If this occurs and assuming Perth don't cause any upsets it would come down to a straight play off for fifth between Peel and East Perth on August 25.

Sounds familiar

Well done to the Tigers for wrapping up their spot in the finals toaday. They will claim a home final if they beat Swans next week. The other spot comes down to a straight play off between Peel and East Perth. Perth still have a mathematical chance if they beat Subi and Peel win narrowly. However that is a remote prospect.

mikeh it is unfortunate that Perth won't make the finals but I am sure that BC will suggest that Perth will start raging hot favourites to beat Subiaco next Saturday.

Well 42, if BC was shouting from the roof tops how great Subi were and everyone else was hot raging shite, he would be getting called arrogant and big headed....every game Subi goes into BC treats the opposition with due respect.....seems like damned if he does and damned if he don't....

freezin -- correct -- on Perth, if they lose it will be their fourth loss in a row -- it will also make Spalding one of the longest serving coaches in history without making the finals -- rememberring that he also spent time at EF as coach.

Been a disappointing end of the season for Perth. Having a loss in week 12. Then sitting out the Bye a week later. The 3 consecutive Wins in Fixtures 14, 15 and 16 seem to put them on track. A narrow loss in week17 and a Bye. Having 2 Byes in 5 weeks didn't help. I hope they can retain the current playing group, as it will give them confidence for next season.

Predictable results today with all the favourites winning. I couldn’t get to Claremont oval due to work commitments. Kept an eye on the scores. Thought we were a chance till early in the last.

Watch the last 10 minutes of the 3rd term of the WP game. Thank god the maggots are still sympathising with them for going broke. They busted the game open in that period with 4 gift goals to WP from frees, 50m penalties and down fields that even Dennis Cometti didn’t know what they were for lol.

We are still alive.

You're a chunder supporter so auto theft, burgs and B&E is hardly working RD....notwithstanding that, I'd would sincerely love for Perth to beat Subi next week and FART to win. That way it would be Claremont and Perth in the last 2 spots....but I'm not sure Schofield has the same sense of theater or fair play to be honest.

I think the most likely outcome is that Peel will be too strong for East Perth at Mandurah next week which will set them up for a rematch at Claremont in the elimination final. They would be reinforced with 3 extra Freo players for that game as they only had 9 today apparently.

Lol I could buy and sell you a hundred times over.

You can love all you like but that’s not going to change anything.
