Doubt it but never know. Expect at this stage it's just an example of players being automatically re-listed to their WAFL club upon their AFL delisting/retirement. E.g. Priddis is on Subi's list despite it being common knowledge that he's not playing for them.

Speaking of Claremont though, Alec Waterman has returned which is great news given his battles with Glandular Fever. Tigers fans should be wary though as he did attempt to return a year or two ago but wasn't able to push through with it. He'd be on a highly modified program at the moment and I daresay playing a game is the farthest thing from his mind at this stage, but hopefully some time down the track we can see him back out on the WAFL field.

Looks like Swans have landed another recruit from East Perth with this guy having a pretty close relationship to Pickering over the last couple of years. I’m quite interested to hear what old mate Larry Bird has to say about this, surely he can fill us in a bit more?!

If your referring to Payne Danger, I would question if Clutterbuck and Payne fit into one team, both slow wingman that can't kick. I rate Clutterbuck a fair bit ahead of Payne at their best. He will win your time trials though. What's the transfer fee $, I hope EP are being reasonable for once.

Larry, if it is Payne in question, why should East Perth virtually give away a past Fairest & Best winner that spat the dummy and walked out mid-season? They should ask for the maximum.

I know who I would rather see back at East Perth on the wing and his initials aren't SP.

I find it very hard to believe there are or could be so many bad footballers originating from East Perth

Keep in mind One Time F&B is often reward for playing every game moderately. The fact is EP has more money than it needs, I believe milking the clubs barely keeping the doors open kills the WAFL. South have a good one in Dent he would run rings around Payne if he keeps his nose clean!!!

I agree that East Perth now has more money than it needs with virtually nothing to spend it on.and to remain aligned past 2018 in my opinion would be just pure greed.

I can only hope that they are stockpiling for when and if the alignment ends. It's going to be needed then.

But to clear a player like Payne for almost nothing would be like rewarding him for walking out and telling other Clubs it is open season on East Perth.

No, make them pay if they want our players. If Clubs don't want to pay, let the players go the Amateurs or Country.
