I understand that Macca's are still on board but Reiwa and Kennards may have pulled the pin.
If they cannot get that extra sponsorship, i think it's beholden upon the WAFC to find that money and the easiest way is to increase the annual contributions from the 2 AFL teams. But being the spineless mob they are, they will try and leach it from the WAFL clubs.

You can add AHG to that list Swannie mate - they've pulled out of all footy , even pulled out of Vicco

Quite aware that part of my post was mentioned previously, just wanted to advise that it's not CH 7 wanting to pull the pin, it's totally in the WAFC's court, they either want to promote the comp or they dont. I think we all know the answer to that.

Apparently we can all thank eddie apparently??
Eddie supposedly endorsed the WAFL as a high-quality State league which helped win telecommunications company Optus as the final sponsor of the commercial television telecast this season.
Optus and vehicle manufacturer Kia signed this week as sponsors of the WAFL telecast. They join the other sponsors in paying for the telecast. Unclear if the 7 Wafl clubs are still making a contribution towards the telecast cost?
It's believed the Optus sponsorship would include a segment to recognise club volunteers.

Yep great news with Optus coming on board, that's a real big name sponsor far far better than they had before, ties in well with the new stadium deal.

Yep it appears your information was correct Swandog... Nice to see you putting in the good posts.
Having Optus come on board is a huge boost to the WAFL.
Mid season before they decide on fixtures at Chn 7 seems a bit strange though? In this article.
e.g
Each club will host at least one televised match in the first 14 rounds, including the Thursday night fixture between Subiaco and Claremont at Leederville Oval in round four.
Another nine matches will be televised in the second half of the season, but the WAFL and Channel 7 will wait until midway through the year to select the games. Rounds two and three will not be broadcast because they clash with coverage of the Commonwealth Games.

Yep WestAussie guy , Im normally not much of a fan of Mc Guire , but it sounds like he's done a terrific deal here for WAFL and SANFL...
