Kind of a bit of fate , that blue and white ends up there on the last day , after about 130 years of dominating the comp I guess, would of been odd them not being there at all, then again its a long way from where your league mob are...
two freo teams locked already for the big dance...kind of appropriate as well...real freo that is.

Mate, could be a case they made us look bad, but we got off to a sluggish start, Subi looked flat all day, but when your chasing your tail you do tend to look like that. Saunders was shut down for us, if that happens again we are farked.

Given the fact only 1 Wafl club is represented in the Grand Final, probably a low figure similar to last season? If the weather is warm, the attendance might increase slightly.

A problem they will have is who will be playing in the other grades. Having a Swans' team in the GF would have helped.

Whilst I have fond memories of our GF wins and State of Origin wins using the last game at Subiaco as a marketing doesn't wash with me. Bricks and mortar seem to be more important to the WAFC than the actual lifeblood of the WAFL clubs and competition.

I would be hard pressed to suggest that it would be higher than 17,000.

So true Swan, couldn't agree more. Hard to care about the stupid ground when the competition is what should be celebrated, not destroyed. Sick to death of hearing about the new stadium. Dare say I'll never see the inside of it and I couldn't care less.
