If the venue is changed for the league match, surely the colts and reserves venue will change to Subiaco Oval also? The 2 previous matches are also at Leederville. Can't see the venue being changed myself.
After the debacle of last season, I guess anything is possible.

To state the obvious I am no fan of Subiaco's dominance. Similarly I think it is fairly well-known I am no fan of the Liberal Party.

Given the above I would rank the WAFC below, and by a considerable margin,below Subiaco and the Liberal Party. There is only one sporting body more incompetent than the WAFC and that is the ARU.

My advice to Subiaco would be to turn up at the designated time at Leederville Oval and when Peelmantle don't turn up claim a forfeit.

Grassy reckons the PCC should be sacked; the highest priority should be to sack the entire WAFC. Speaking of jokes the IDIOTIC idea that reducing the number of games next year from 20 to 18 again shows that the WAFC don't give a stuff about the WAFL. If I may digress only slightly but it does speak to this topic the idea of an 18 games is for 2 complete rounds + a match against a traditional opponent and 1 other match. Here would be the traditional match-ups:

Swans vs Perth;
South Freo vs East Freo;
East Perth vs West Perth;and
Subiaco vs Claremont.

Note Peel are not included in the above fixtures.

Just stirring up old mate. Every one loves beating EP we have never been popular. I'm talking more from a historical view point. The rivalries have dimmed I suppose I'm not one to boast about attendances and passion like Swans do when the WAFL is on its death bed. The sentiment I agree with, EP gets more than its share of the best fixtures and I don't think it's fair. As an old communist and Labor man anything inequitable doesn't sit well with me.

LB your former club has blood on its hands (IN FACT TWICE) in the destruction of the wAFL.

larry, Larry, you really have to get off that funny weed you are smoking! If I may quote Stevie Marsh and Ken Judge et al, there is only one derby and that's the Fremantle derby. The rest is just a a bunch of teams with a wish list. Hero worship comes to mind, Larry and you have the right to be wrong.

Back to the topic, I like some of the suggestions here. The 7 WAFL clubs should band together and exercise their right to to tell the idiots that they will not accept this. Do you reckon the WAFC would say ok, there won't be a gf this year? I don't think so. The 7 WAFL clubs have the power of influence if they band together. This subservience to the 2 afl reserve teams has to stop.
