If the WAFC agree to move the game the SFC and the rest of the G7 clubs need to make a stand here and flatly refuse to move the game away from our home ground. That privelidge has been hard earned this year. Time for the real WAFL clubs to say no more to the AFL clubs. If Freo are not happy with the surface then withdraw their players, no issue if they do that. I bet there are 15 peel lads that would jump at the chance to play finals.

Now let me see: before last year's WAFL GF 5 players would have been training in Mandurah and the other 17 would have been training in Fremantle. This year it would be 7 players training in Mandurah and 15 training at Cockburn.

SS you forgot a clause in your post. If the Freo players are withdrawn they would be ruled ineligible to play any further part in the 2017 WAFL finals. I am sure you meant to post that clause; just an oversight on your part.

I would have no problem with Subi forfeiting the game if push came to shove, we have every right to stand our ground as any other club would in our position.

me too SS...I think it's a matter of principle and we should stand our ground and not get bullied by a poorly performing AFL club. First and foremost I think the WAFC should tell Freo to piss off but I can't see that happening.

Peel can just forfeit the game. No probs

maybe SFC should take the legal route and get an injunction prohibiting the WAFC moving the game as it's going to injure the club by way of lost revenue, supporter disruption going to another ground, loss of sponsor exposure and so on.
