Really freez....I'm sure Ross Lyon would be interested in your opinion of Suban given he played him consistently in the back half of the season.

The Peelmantle coach did his homework, he new that to give Souths quick and highly skilled players any space would be fatal so he completely closed them down, gave them no space at all and tackled them into submission in a really aggressive intimidating manner which is typical Ross Lyon methodology. They could do this due to having 14 full time pro's who are bigger stronger and fitter. They were able to continually flood Souths forward 50 due to superior fitness, WAFL teams can do that for short periods but not for most of the game as Peelmantle did. Peelmantle took the foot off the pedal a little early and almost blew it, they allowed the game to open up and Souths took the opportunity, but it was just too late.

As for next weeks game, Subi are a completely different beast, arguably the fittest, strongest WAFL team who play a contested high tackling game plan but can open up with good overlap run as well with precise disposal. Subi wont have the space or time they usually have so any second guessing with decision making will be fatal against this mob who will be stronger next week with Cox and Ryan included. Cox is a very good tall player who can ruck or go forward, so with blokes like Darcy, Griffin, Taberner, Cox etc Subi will not have the talls to match up with so it will come down to the mids clash, where we have a chance of matching it with them if Horsely is fit to go and if Adamson can get himself right. Will be looking at guys like Cocky and Kitchen to get in their faces as the AFL boys get very upset when WAFL upstarts do that stuff. As happens every week Subi will get smashed in the tapouts but Creeper, Delahunty and maybe Wheeler if he comes up are more than a match around the ground, particularly Dela who should be on an AFL list. It might be helpful for Subi if its a wet day which will lessen the talls impact. Ryan will get very special attention as he did in the GF last year where he was illegally pummeled all day and totally ignored by the umps. He has to learn to deal with that and his team mates need to have a physical presence around where he is to create the space he needs to operate. Peelmantle will use blocking to prevent him running at the packs so hopefully the umps are watching for that.

It shapes as being a pretty physical affair so who ever loses will be vulnerable against Souths who are expected to win the 1st semi. Subi cannot afford anymore injuries to key players or they may well go out in straight sets and that could hand a 2nd flag to the Peelmantle juggernaut. And those 7 real Peel players will be ecstatic!!

Come on BC ....Lyon is just as cooked as Suban mate...look where Freo finished and how they finished mate.....a couple of 100 point blow outs.....anyway are you telling me the likes of Taberner,Dawson,Ibbotsen, Nyhuis, Duman, Sutcliffe, Suban, DeLuca, Griffen and Pearce are better footballers than Shaw, Johnson, Cook, Schloithe, Wilson, Garlett, Verrier, Hams, Van Deleur and D'Olio?....I know which 10 I would rather have in EF team most weeks...and it aint the first 10...

SS....7 real Peel guys?.....pretty sure Jetta is a SF boy.....Ugle a Perth boy....Lawler from SD zone....u mean 4 real Peel boys..thats gonna make a few folk salivate in anger even more...LOL......and even one of those four real Peel boys won mutiple F&B Medals playing over a 100 games at another WAFL club!.....

I'm not sure why all the hysteria! Peel are very beatable. Everyone going on about full time footballers-

Darcy 19
Duman 19
Cox 19
Strnadica 19
Logue 19

They've all had 1 pre-season- which is common knowledge is severely monitored. Add Naughton (18) and there's a fair degree of inexperience in that team. I still think any of the teams still in the finals can roll them.

Yes, the rules will probably get tightened again but lets not create a song and dance

Agree with your comment KCEF.Subi should beat Peel by over 30 points. Also think Schofield would be excited by the Peel challenge.

No East Freo mentioned here Mr Peelmantle Cheerleader!

So everyone that disagrees with you is a Peel supporter lol,

I noticed the Souths player that bad mouthed Suban in a tweet had his arse handed to him yesterday by none other than Suban in a BOG performance.
