I see freo/peel are up to their same old tricks again...Bennell named in peel magoos today but surprise surprise was a late withdrawal, hopefully this one will bite you on the arse scumbags

I thought Fremantle had announced mid week that he wouldn't play for Peel until next weekend? Not too sure what you're getting steamed up about.

Mike if that's the case then why name him in the magoos today?

OK now I've got you, they are doing what they did with Balic last year. Yes that is pretty ordinary. Hopefully the WAFC will block it if they have got any gonads.....um wait a minute

Mikeh the umpiring bosses are more likely to apologise for one of their umpires making the ridiculous decision to play an "advantage" for a ball in mid-flight that bounced into the goal post than the WAFC ruling that Peel cannot count today's match towards Bennell's qualifying games.

Freo are taking advantage of a loophole that allows them to name a player in the Peel 2's which counts as a qualifying game to play WAFL finals. They did it last year and the WAFL didn't close the loophole ... why? it's so not in the spirit of the game. A reasonably fit Bennel playing in a WAFL final series could be enough to get the scum over the line for another flag. Only seen Bennell play once live down at Peel 1st game last season when he did his calf and he was electrifying. Only playing half of each qtr against Subi he had 25 odd disposals and 4 goals.
Absolutely a game changer if fit.

Just when you think WAFL umpiring standards could not get any more appalling then along comes that "advantage" decision!

As for 'Peel" with their bending of the rules the WAFC had the opportunity to close off this loophole after last years Balic fiasco but failed to act...how surprising!

So it would be possible for someone like Fyfe to qualify for finals for Peel by turning up to watch 5 reserves' games without actually running onto the ground once!!!!!!!!!!! UNBELIEVABLE.

Which club sufferred at the hands of the aforementioned umpire's decision? Perhaps the other clubs did not close the loophole because they can also use it?
