It would be silly not to pull some resources down from what we can get hold of and implement whatever works to our strengths'. That word RESOURCES has a real bad smell attached to it and the alignment will only get more resources thrown at EP and Peel in 2014. Brendan Lee has said it all really.

I wonder if these are the same sort of "RESOURCES" as Essenscum have been allegedly using!
I hope the testers are on duty at all of the WCE's & Freo's Reserves games this season!!

It is ok, we get all of our medical supplies from Casserleys Pharmacy, great deal on all sorts of cold and flu tablets, most of the PED's come from steggles oops, the Baby Hens dispensary in Subiaco!
We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so stupid people won't be offended

TIME FOR A FLAG Yes the royals and peel were the first two of seven teams which were considering alignment to take up the offer.the idea that all nine clubs were rock solid against a eagles and dockers having sides seem to be a lot of hogwash.
.The board of nine are to blame they should have worked on the first model and that was to let the eagles and dockers have their own stand alone teams whether they were playing in the wafl for points or not.The board of nine ruled this out so who is to blame for this fiasco it is the board of nine.Certain clubs would have been definitly against alignment teams as they have benefitted under the eagles and dockers who have recruited heavily from their clubs and they have not had to do much out of zone recruiting saving themselves lots of money.i would have preffered we went with the first model and held out for money and let the eagles and dockers try and put a team together from scratch.Having wafl teams without afl players would have made it fairer for all nine clubs so long as the financial carrott was right i don't think the grumpy 7 should try to hold the moral high ground all nine clubs could have come up with a better solution than what we have finished with.

hey southerner what are worried about.that when the full alignment comes in next year you won't be able to pinch anymore sharks and tigers players next year as they will all be required players.in fact maybe they might be trying to pinch some of your premiership colts who won't be getting a game this year due to your 14 non zone players

To answer the initial questions.
1: I will still go watch the mighty black ducks regardless who they play and where however my respect for EP circa 2013 + is now completely eroded ( Never had any for Peel to start with ). Any performance from here on in is tainted and not worthy of even reviewing IMO. I can understand why it seems so many EP supporters I know all say they have had enough and feel sold out. I do know some however that love the whole alignment idea......I can understand that too.
2: I think the EP crowds will be down but not because of a boycott by the opposition supporters but a boycott of their own. Peel will be up due to having no success at all and pretty much any improvement will be grabbed with both hands.

Always respected the Royals and felt that was reciprocated.......shame to see that healthy rivalry and mutual respect DEAD!!

I'll continue to support Swan Districts.. But I will not be attending any games at Medibank Stadium or Rushton Park (hardly anyone goes now anyway!). They don't need my admission fee when they are getting handouts from the Eagles and Dockers. When they visit Steel Blue I will be there cheering for my team, Swan Districts.
The Mayor has spoken..

Gents to put the 150k the wafl clubs will get into perspective. I was at the season launch of a cellar dwelling club last week and asked two board members what it meant in $ terms the money would mean to the club and both their answers were the same.......... Nothing! The loss of existing district talent could not be offset from this amount it was not even a consideration.
