If not, why is she allowed on the board? Is the current poor state of the Wafl her main focus. If not, why not! There are huge issues the so called commission need to tackle. Will the new replacement (whoever it may be) roll their sleeves up and work with/ support the Wafl? I hope the new appointment is not someone whose only there to ride the tax payer funded gravy train.

Cheryl Edwards,,,are you kidding??

Hang on boys, this recent and current lot of commissioners, most with lots of footy experience have completely stuffed things up, so perhaps someone with fresh eyes can do a better job ......... my poor old half blind Australian terrier could do a better job than the encumbants!!

I preface my comment with NO I have not had any communication with the person I am about to suggest would make an ideal WAFC: my suggestion would be that former Swans' Director Paul Douglas would be an ideal candidate for the WAFC. He certainly would have the knowledge of the financial wherewithal required for the WAFL clubs to be able to operate effectively and be competitive, is passionate about the WAFL competition and I would suggest would not be afraid to stand up for and defend the WAFL competition against the WA domiciled AFL clubs.

UNEQUIVOCALLY and UNAMBIGUOUSLY NO. He in conjunction with a CEO were involved in the resolution of same; most assuredly WERE NOT part of the problem, just the solution as I am sure you knew already BC.

I will add the obvious that he is a long-standing member of Swans.

Swan the part of your description of this bloke that will keep him out of the WAFC is "passionate WAFL supporter" given recent history that would be the last thing the commish is looking for.

SS I fully understand and agree with what you are saying. Why on earth would the WAFC need commissioners interested in the WAFL?
