I wonder if any WAFL senior players are in line for drafting to the AFL rookie or main list. I know some have been invited to the combine but there must be some others who would be under close consideration. Some names that come to mind are
Aiden Tropiano - surely someone with his ball getting ability would be on the radar of several clubs. He has been living an "AFL lifestyle" as well
Marcus Adams - Freo could do a lot worse than consider him to develop into a key position player
Aaron Black - would be worth a spot on a rookie list
Shane Yarran - Very talented
Nathan Broad - Has a lot of pace
Sam Menegola - Worth another go I reckon
Matthew Boland - eye catching performance in the GF
Jarryd Bell - a consistent defender for Perth

I'm sure there are others who might be considered and I know that there are not that many spots available for mature aged rookies so you might get 2 or 3 of these or others that eventually get selected like Kane Mitchell did.

Any thoughts from others?

I see you have only nominated 2 country boys there Mike (25%) and neither currently play for their originally zoned WAFL club ...JD will be distraught!
Just to keep him onside I will nominate a couple more country boys that might be ones to look at for the national comp-

'you must be kidding, where is Tyler, starred all season, biggest possession winner inside the arc, unlucky to not kick 100 goals in all competitions and starred in the GF shoulda won the simpson all he need was more support from his team mates, they just don't understand his style of play,

did hear tho' he has a third cousins uncle who played for subi and could be lining up with them, just needs his mum, manager and the soothsayer to all agree! that is if collingwood or essendon or even the lions don't pick him, he was invited to the combine but had others plans and also said he didn't have to prove himself at that level, he has the runs on the board! (oops wrong game)
