Hi Ric
A question I have (not grand final related) is do you have any stats on the players with the highest amount of goals kicked on debut game by any chance?
From memory Chris Yarran kicked 7.4 on debut for us in Round 1 2008 as a 17 yo but just wanted to know if that has ever been bettered especially by the likes of George Doig, Austin Roberstson et al.

Didn't big Laurie Keene kick 9 on debut in the early 80's?

George Doig kicked 9 on debut in r1, 1933, then followed up 8 in his second game. Robertson kicked 2 on debut but 10 in his second game!

DG- Keene kicked 9.5 in r12, 1981 although very early in his career it was not his debut game, he debuted earlier in the season - I don't

Just checked, Laurie Keene kicked 9 in his 3rd game, on my site it appears as his 2nd but haven't added his debut in r1, 1981 where he went goalless

Yazz could quite possibly be 2nd on that list of highest amount of goals on debut although I am not sure what the likes of Warren Ralph, Simon Beasley, Bauskis, Olsen, Gorman, Tierney, Tyson, Tucker, Couper et al scored.
Georgey Doig must have been an incredible player back in the day maybe freeze could tell us having seen his whole career firsthand!

He could be, as I don't have all the games reverting played I can't confirm for other clubs. I have all the swans players so you can check them all out on their player page

Just updating 1988 stats for Perth and checked Rob Wiley's career - he kicked 1.8 on debut in round 1 1974 then followed up with 8.3 in his second game
