It was good to hear Hagdorn fire up when the East Perth/Eagles sycophant Peter Vlahos declared that Sellwood and McGinnity should be allowed to play agains West Perth.

Hagdorn told Vlahos "so let's just change the rules to suit them, why not have 22 players on the ground or make a goal 12 points."

Vlahos had no come back.

I had the 'misfortune' to listen to the ABC this morning with Duffield and Judge trying to explain that it was a loophole which prevented the two Eagles players from playing for their reserves' team tomorrow. What would Simpson have done if his reserves' team had not made the WAFL finals? They made their bed, so now they can lie in it.

The other subject which should cause Duffield and Judge a great deal of embarrassment if they listen to their comments this morning related to the final five and what Fremantle did in the first week of the WAFL finals. Only a complete and utter idiot with the intellect of a single cell organism would not have realised that what Fremantle did in resting their players in the last week of the home and away fixtures of the AFL was a possibility when the decision was made to have a final five and to schedule the first week WAFL finals on the same week end of the last qualifying week end of the AFL fixtures. It was completely FORSEEABLE and LIKELY.
