Well done to ABC radio for making the broadcasts of the WAFL a priority over eastern states AFL matches, particularly in the latter half of the season.
Again on Sunday they will cover the game at Leederville rather than a meaningless Collingwood V Essendon game in Melbourne. With the game at Joondalup covered by 91.3 FM we will have full coverage of the two finals games.

Unfortunately it may not happen next week with one of the AFL finals games likely to be at 12.30pm our time on Sunday. I wonder what Channel 7 will do with their broadcast? Perhaps if its Peel V East Perth they will make them rock up to Mandurah to start the game at 9.30 am on Sunday morning

Well done to ABC radio for todays Grand Final coverage. Well worth listening and informative. Don't know what we would have done without the radio coverage?

I listened to 720 on the radio at the game today and their coverage was exceptional.

Losing the ABCTV wafl coverage still hurts. Hope the ABCradio is forever retained. I've listened to them for years right back to the mornings with Georgie G & Geoff Christian. Even back in the early 80s when Ian Brayshaw did radio commentary for a few years. He was ok too. They have always been the best & their loyalty to the WAFL is second to none. A big tick.
