Just had a look at the WAFl site www.wafl.com.au/games

I don't understand why there isn't a crowd figure for East Fremantle vs the club formerly known as East Perth.

Given it was about 2 weeks ago and played at Subiaco Oval I would have thought there would have been an attendance figure posted by now. The cynic in me would suggest that it is not there because it would be another embarrassing figure for the WAFC.

I checked back on the West online figure in the article on the game and "about 5200" was quoted however a large percentage of those would have been given free tickets so maybe there was no accurate count done on the night.

It is the only figure which is missing from the first two rounds. Given it was played at ostensibly the premier Aussies Rules oval in WA what does it say?

I was at the game and it was a large crowd , 5000 would be a good estimate . Doesn't matter how many free tickets given out , they all count . Last year West Perth were successfull in attracting crowds by giving away free tickets to games in the community newspaper. Im sure they where counted when going through the turnstile .

The question pjaye is why is there not an official figure on the WAFL website?

Perhaps they can't remember how many free tickets were issued? Surely they would be factored into the final attendance figure?
