I came across some pages of The West for Saturday 12 September 1959, today. It listed the radio broadcasts for the following games:

6IX - East Fremantle v West Perth
6PM - Subiaco v Swans
6PR - Claremont v Perth

6WF or 6KY had no mention of the remaining teams East Perth and South Fremantle.

According to WAFL.com.au this was round 21 and the results were:

East Freo 10.12 WP 9.8
Subi 18.17 Swans 14.11
Claremont 14.13 Perth 12.13
EP 17.12 SF 11.17

Unfortunately, I don't have any pages relating to game previews - just four from the middle of the paper but still good reading for trade and finance and real estate.

PS - Wentworth Motors of Stirling Highway Claremont had a large ad for a Simca for 1045 pounds.
