The tv broadcasting of the 2015 Wafl season is likely to be announced soon. Apparently 3 presenting partners are close to signing the contracts for the 1 million dollar annual costing. That equates to just a tick over 37 grand per match, assuming one broadcast game per round and one broadcast in each of the finals? Why it cost that much to broadcast one game is beyond my comprehension!?
The commercial station deal will be for three years.

Confirmed in the weekend Press, Ch 7 is doing it.

WAFC will put in $100k a year, which means the contributions from each club wull be a lot less that the intial $50K demanded.

Signed up for 3 yrs.

You dont get much for 37K these days, they need to pay 3 or 4 cameramen, 3 commentators, all the gear etc.

Each of the non-aligned clubs will each have 5 games televised throughout the season. Peel Thunder will have 6 and East Perth will have 7.

Thankfully I don't think his nose would fit inside the WAFL commentary boxes ..let alone his head!!

Last thing we need is Beek crapping on about Falcons at every opportunity. Timing of games critical. Cant see Swannies wanting games anytime but 2pm. They get big crowds n can bar pays the way.
