Wasn't it mentioned last year that the WAFC had no problems with the deal between Channel 9 and West Perth?

Now the s**t has hit the fan and the WAFC are back pedalling that quick it's a joke.

The WAFL improved their social media a little last year. This I commended them on. It was a starting block that should see improvement each year until it is up to the standard that it should be.

With regards to Subiaco they are helped a lot by the bar at Patersons Stadium. They like you said also have some good sponsorship deals in place.

However when the new stadium is finished at Burswood how will this impact financially on Subiaco. They employ a lot of staff in different positions which helps them spread the workload and for certain employees to focus on certain aspects of the club.

What I'm trying to get at is that they pretty well resourced compared to other clubs where some staff often have to take on more responsibilities. If they did loose this regular income would this see some staff's jobs made redundant?

MrAFL,
Thanks for listening in and thanks for the detailed feedback! Always appreciate it. Even though it is only a half question, we might address what you raised about Subi staff when the stadium is built in next Tuesday's WAFL Waffle. Always great to get questions no matter how small and really make the show interactive.

For those that missed, bumping the link to this week's episode on this page:

Cheers for that.

Looking at the staff at Subiaco they have a CEO, Football Manager, Office Manager, Business Development Manager, Player Development Manager, Lions Corporate Manager, Marketing and Events Coordinator, District Manager, Bar and Functions Manager for Leederville & Subiaco Facilities, Communications and finally and Administrator. That's a fair bit of staff compared to most other clubs where some of these roles are rolled in together.

I suppose it is all down to what they will do with Patersons Stadium heading into the future. Will Subiaco FC still be able to keep their rooms open for functions etc... to still keep making a profit?

With all they hype surrounding the WACA could we see a big redevelopment happen at Patersons turning that into a 20-25K seat boutique stadium for the Warriors to play Sheffield Shield and One Day games while the Scorchers and any International games will be played at Burswood. If cricket was to move to Patersons you would think that Subiaco FC would still be able to open their bar and functions room to make some money.

Good show Mike n Cam. You exposed some serious issues on the WAFC. 1 000 000 in 3 salaries. Turn it up. Time for WAFC to put under the microscope by the state government.Sautner's issues that lead him to a court date is just another sign of gross mismanagement

Mike to Cam return for another week of WAFL Waffle. We talk about all the issues both on and off field from the WAFL. Thanks to both Mr AFL and Astro who provided us with the base for a question session at the end of the episode.

Hope you enjoy the listen.
