I have to agree with most of that Ed. My questions and statement deal with facts not fiction like our friend Swan42. The Presidents got greedy and now they are sorry, I'm sure some lessons learnt on how to negotiate in a professional manner.

The Presidents thought they could extract more money out of the situation that's the root of the problem. It's like me walking into centrelink on Monday and saying I have been with you guys for years how about a raise. I'm touched you want to get to know me better but I never give it away on a first date.

great thing about this Larry -you can make it up as it goes. I wil bet London to a brick no player returns to EP. They ca not be guaranteed a game as we have seen this year. BTW i dont have a boy in the club but am close to action through recruiting duties.

Yes I know your son is no longer at the club but how is he going, he is a nice kid. Plenty of opportunities this year for those that deserved them and some nice development. But a couple will miss out on finals which might not sit well but that's the cards we are dealt. May I ask which part I made up in particular so I can address that point?

Edstark my point exactly. Not only would stand-alone teams prostitute the WWAFL it would then cast its insidious feelers into the amateur comp etc.

Like the last time EP jumped into bed with the Eagles they had a good core of experienced WAFL players. Bronte threw the keys of some shiny new set of wheels at the likes of Josh Smith and Paul Johnson a couple of years prior to the latest alignment. Once these players andcCraig Wulf hang up the boots I think we will see the Eagles reserves come back to the fold and EP have probably seen the last of Scott Lycett.

When EP start dropping back in the pack then we will start seeing some unrest. While they are sitting pretty at the top of the ladder and a premiership awaits everyone is happy and it's working well.
