Apparently the West Perth against Subiaco match to be played at the Arena is the abc tv televised match. What a ripper of a game this will be.

All matches have a start time of 1405.
Claremont playing at Mandurah. Broadcast by Sport FM 91.3
The other big game of the round is Perth(at home) against South Fremantle. Both teams unlucky & coming off narrow losses from yesterday. Broadcast by Hot Country Digital.
East Fremantle going out to Leederville. Great to see abc radio will be broadcasting the East Fremantle game. :) :cheer:

Weather conditions for the footy are expected to be clear with a maximum temperature of about 18º.

Yep big game at Joondalup (International Day) and it has ABC TV. Apparently 6000 at the game last year being a big event day at Joondalup. Dont forget to print out your free tickets on offer on the WPFC site.

Lets hope the weather is good for the Day.
Extended forcast is
Saturday 12 July
Min 7 Max 18 Partly cloudy.
Perth area
Partly cloudy. Light winds.

The game should be a beauty with WP wanting to atone for their losses in the League,Reserves and Colts.

Heres a confirmation of the Broadcasters... Thanks for that WAG

And the poster..
Someone wasnt thinking with Sala on it as he has retired. Excuse my ignorance but not sure about the Subi guy?
The other thing that irks me is the AFL mention.. It is an initiative between the WPFC and WAFL. AFL does not encompass the WAFL yet and it is a stand alone Corporation not the official name for the total Australian rules in Australia yet.
AFL is a registered name for the Australian Football League.

Maybe it should read Australian Rules Uniting Australia?

Yeh I know a small bitch but annoying

What a great looking poster.
Although obviously the proof reader was a bit slack.
All we need is for everyone to attend for a good day of Wafl footy. Lets hope the long range weather forecast stays true.

Dont Worry WAG Huey will look after us.
Just look at Yesterday. You couldnt of asked for a better day for football
Unfortunately he didnt look after WPFC but thats the breaks ;)

I suppose the Almighty God the AFL will be pissed as we had a good one for the WAFL and they are having a shocker today.. :P It wont worry the WAFC Commissioners and their arse lickers as they will be in a VIP BOX eating and drinking. Most probably looking down on the Wet Peasants who are paying for it all.. Sad really

Looking at the weather radar I have a feeling it will fine up later in the week as we are having a Big wet today... Heres the weather radar.. so you can check it later in the week as well click on link

Crowd at Pattersons 25000 smallest crowd ever... Hmmmmmm interesting
Fair weather supporters.. Must of been a couple thousand Swans supporters? They take away the free tickets etc etc ...

Reckon that would be Kyal Horsley mate, an old photo though. He is Number 5 this year I think

Thanks Singha.. Looks like him from this team pic.. Now is he your team captain or did they get that wrong as well...

No big deal that will be next Saturday when we take you on and win.. :)
Look forward to the Day win lose or draw.
I realise it a big game for Subi as well in regards to ladder positions.

I have got a feeling it is going to be a hard fought game in the true WAFL tradition.

To be fair Cardy it was an appalling day so the temptation to watch it live on TV would have been great

Your stating the obvious Mike but it is a winter game. Gee the AFL would have no one going to half the games in Melbourne if everyone had that attitude.
With the Eagles huge membership base I am not talking about the general public but about their members. It appears those same ones who didnt make the trip would be the same people who walk out at 3/4 time from what I have read on here.
At least the say 20,000 who turned up are dedicated..

Reminds me of the wettest game I have ever been to (and I went to a few in Melbourne before WA had a AFL side being Melbourne supporter at the time)
But the wettest I went to was WP v EP at Arena Joondalup. It turned out to be worth a trip as EP did NOT score a goal. The ground was under at least 6 inches of water.
Of course I have a clip of it as well.
