Yes that's correct k. The 2 alignments are at different ends of the spectrum for sure. pee mantle seem to be there to simply make up the numbers. But finishing a game with a full time score of 5 goals 11 minors, and an accuracy rate of 49% gives no inspiration. Certainly will not win games. Unfortunatley that is where footy is at at the moment, there is some crap games everywhere for example recent Quweens Birthday game between Collingwood & Melbourne, 8 goals to 3, it was that bad I gave up at half time and went back to work

no mention of "Percy's view of the game as he saw it" in your original 42...what you said was in a nutshell and to paraphrase him which could also mean he was coming from a position of informed knowledge. I agree he's been around a long time and is very knowledgeable about the game but unless he's inside at Freo or Peel then it's basically just his opinion which could be wrong.

With all due respect BC, and I was paraphrasing Percy's comments, it is not unreasonable to assume that the readers of my post would realise that Percy was expressing his opinion. It would seem to me to be unreasonable for you to assume that I was paraphrasing Percy's comments which were a quote, by him, from the Fremantle Football Club.

Further to back up Percy's opinion one only needs to have a look at the inside 50s in the first half and the relative sizes of Swans' defenders compared with the sizes of Peels' forwards.
