We have a team rule that if you give away a 50m penalty or get a card, then you need to provide a carton for the boys. Happy to say most clubs are very obliging in providing at the market value.

Always enjoy the carton you guys put on Darth Raider.

Lets remember this is amateur footy. We play coz we love the game and enjoy a beer with our mates. Let's not allow this political correctness to ruin what little privileges we have left.

same rule, that's how this thread started... never mind we all stayed for at least one beer, some had a couple, then we went back to our club and drank our carton

That's a fair call. Unfortunately our licenced area map was incorrectly submitted for our first two rounds. Therefore no option but to follow the rules.

screech wrote: i dont condone what happened at your ground dickkyboy and if i had seen them i would have had a word with them aswell. but one suggestion about your liscenced area it was way to small you had pretty much the entire ressies team in there drinking and there was no room to move for other ppl who wanted to have a beer and watch an exciting game of footy. we will always try and abide by the rules but when you cant move in the area it is kinda hard to enjoy your drink. just a suggestion thats all. hope you guys have a great year.

So did your guys know in advance that licenced area small and brought esky's or go down to shop purchase an esky then head to bottle shop for beers once they realised?

we played at Midland (MFL) today,,beers were $3.50 .fair price i reckon so we stayed for a few.At our home games beers will be $3.50 as well, might encourage blokes to stay and have just the 2nd one before heading home.
